In recognition of its distinct commitment and service to the sustainable development of the Niger Delta Communities, SEN have been appointed to several Boards and Committees such as follows:

• UNDP Stakeholders Board (SHB) on Sustainable Agriculture, Environment and Rural Development Programme (SAERDP) in Rivers State, Nigeria.
• Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) Working Group with assistance from World Bank Nigeria Country Office.

Member, River State Integrated Coastal Zone Management Committee (ICZMC), Committee aim to facilitate Integrated Coastal Zone Management of the Niger Delta region in collaboration with the World Bank

Member, State Environmental Education and Public Awareness Committee (EE & PA) through the Rivers State Ministry of Environment & Natural Resources. Member, State Ministry of Education Environmental Education Curriculum Implementation Committee, the organization contributed immensely during the harmonization of the EE curriculum for Nigeria which SEN participated.
